Estella
€49,99 €59,99
We’ve designed the Estella shirt to feel just as soft, light and comfortable as cotton, with the added performance of synthetic fabrics. It’s the sort of shirt that you’d wear to stay cool on a hot trek or bike ride but happily wear out for dinner afterwards.
- The comfortable natural feel of cotton and a fabric that stretches with you
- Super wicking and fast-drying to keep you cool, plus UPF 50+ protection
- Polygeine® anti-odour treatment and can be washed and dried overnight
In baking heat, a looser fitting cotton shirt can feel more comfortable than a close-fitting base layer. But there’s nothing worse than walking in a sticky, sweat-sodden cotton shirt all day so we’ve designed the Estella to combine the benefits of both.
The light fabric has a soft, natural feel that moves with you and the tailoring around the shoulders provides additional freedom. This stops the shirt from feeling restrictive under a rucksack and allows you to stretch forwards on the bike or for gaining extra trekking pole leverage.
Because the fabric’s synthetic fibres don’t absorb water, the Estella is naturally wicking and extremely fast drying. But, on top of that, the yarns in the fabric have been given a permanent wicking treatment. This speeds up evaporation to keep you cool and dry, even under a beating sun.
We’ve intentionally chosen lighter colours to reflect as much heat as possible and the fabric has a UPF of 50+. Combined with the long sleeves, this provides a high level of sun protection, whether abroad, at altitude or during the height of British summer.
Polygeine®anti-odour technology keeps you (or at least your shirt!) smelling fresher for longer on cycle tours and and multi-day hillwalking trips. Plus, because the Estella is so fast drying, it can be easily washed and dried overnight in a hostel sink/closest body of non-mucky water for longer stretches of travelling.
"By choosing a fabric with inherent mechanical stretch and tailoring the shirts for movement, we’ve eliminated the need for spandex (which holds moisture), keeping the shirt as light and fast-drying as possible." - Ronnie, Design Manager

How It Is Made
Wear more, wash less: it’s every busy adventurer’s dream…
We apply Polygiene™ to garments so that they smell less with wear and need washing less between use: ideal for that multi day getaway (and you’re doing your bit for the environment too).
Polygiene ™ is a silver based treatment that we apply during fabric production. The silver chloride prevents the growth of the bacteria that makes your clothes pong without interfering with the skin’s natural bacteria flora, so it’s comfortable and safe next to your skin. Polygiene ™ is bluesign ® approved (meeting the highest environmental standards) and lasts as long as your clothes do, so you’ll never need to reproof them.
The catch? There isn’t one! You can wear this garment day in, day out, and day back in again without causing a stink – winner!
Where It Is Made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
