Kingston is a busy place, but there's plenty of gems around to help fulfill your cravings of adventure. Here's a few recommendations:

• Richmond Park
• Just a 15 - minute walk away, a huge open space which is home to many rare and endangered species of wildlife. Take a walk (or a horse-drawn carriage) around the ponds, hills and woods - and bring your camera too!

• Richmond Riverside
• Sat just next to the park - and used as a filming location for Ted Lasso - a stunning place to grab some sun or for lazy summer evenings. Lounge by the water after a day of adventure watch of the Thames flow under its oldest surviving bridge.
