Bloc Short
€49,99
"So stretchy you can kick yourself square in the face" wasn’t on the design brief for the Bloc Short but it’s true nonetheless... if you can reach...
- Sretchy and comfortable organic cotton twill fabric
- Gussetted crotch and above-the-knee cut for movement
- Low-profile elastic waistband fits neatly under harnesses
The Bloc Short are designed to make heel hook hindrance a thing of the past. The soft organic cotton twill (with a touch of spandex) provides a frankly silly level of dynamic movement. And this naturally breathable material makes the Bloc Short ideal for baking hot sport climbs and sweaty indoor bouldering.
If that wasn’t enough climbing comfort, the diamond-shape gusseted crotch and above-the-knee cut allow you to execute awkward moves with orangutan levels of limb looseness. The stretchy twill also allowed us to make the Bloc Climbing Short a slimmer fit than standard climbing shorts so they don't snag on craggier crags.
Climbing shorts need to be durable, especially if they’re being subjected to rough Peak District grit. Cotton is a naturally hard-wearing material and possesses inherent grip properties.
A simple low-profile elastic waistband is easy to pull on and fits neatly under harnesses. And there are four jeans-style pockets for phones, guidebooks and retina-burningly bright beanies.

How It Is Made
Organic CottonThese shorts are made from Global Organic Textile Standard certified organic cotton. Organic cotton farming produces significantly less CO₂, uses less water and eliminates the use of harmful pesticides. And it feels great!

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.

Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
