Helio is a lightweight, freestanding wing tarp that keeps you dry (or shaded) at basecamp and gives that extra bit of protection from the elements on wet weather bivvies and wild camps. The included poles allow you to pitch on open ground without the need to find a camping spot with suitable trees. Also available: Helio XL wing tarp for bigger groups and standing height.

    • Provides spacious communal area for camp cooking
    • Large enough to cover 4-5 bivvy-ers
    • 2 aluminium tarp poles included for open-ground pitches
    • Reinforced 7-point construction maintins stability in windy conditions

Simple to pitch in less than 3 minutes, the 7-point wing tarp construction with 8 adjustable guy lines keeps it firmly in place in higher winds and gives you plenty of potential pitching configurations. Pitched high with the included aluminium poles adds a huge amount liveable space to your basecamp setup with plenty of room for a table and at least 4 camp chairs - add 1 or 2 extra poles (not included) to your setup to further open out your shelter. For multi-day wild camping trips, leave the poles at home to save weight and pitch your Helio tarp close to the ground with walking poles, trees or even your bike wheel for a low-profile bivvy shelter.

Helio packs down into a compact carry bag with a total weight of 1.85kg (1.1kg without poles) making it a great addition to boost campsite comfort without taking up loads of space or weighing you down when carrying your kit. To keep things neat when packing down your tarp we've added a handy velcro pouch at each of the reinforced corners to stow the adjustable guy lines - your future self will be grateful there's no tangles when you come to pitch it next time!

Spot clean with warm water, mild (non-detergent) soap and a soft sponge. Never use bleach, fabric softeners or other household cleaning products and air dry only.

Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
