Details

Ready for the miles ahead

Atlas is built for the sort of trips where you stop noticing your boots and get on with the walking. Long-distance trails, multi-day routes and big hill days with a loaded pack. Supportive enough for rough ground and sustained mileage, without feeling heavy or overbuilt when the path finally levels out.

Developed with footwear specialists in north-east Italy, Atlas combines dependable waterproof protection, a supportive mid-height cuff and a grippy REACT sole for traction on varied terrain.

Highlights

  • REACT Grip sole - dependable traction on wet paths and rough ground
  • Waterproof lining - breathable Tepor membrane keeps feet dry
  • Stable support - mid-height cuff adds confidence on uneven ground
  • Long-day comfort - PU midsole reduces fatigue over distance
  • Durable upper - tough construction stands up to repeated use
  • Balanced feel - supportive on rough terrain without unnecessary bulk

Built for distance

Atlas is made for the steady rhythm of long days on foot. The sort of boot that feels comfortable from the first climb of the morning to the last few miles back into camp, whether you’re crossing mountain passes, damp valley tracks or another stretch of rain-soaked moorland that looked much shorter on the map.

The REACT Grip sole provides reliable traction across wet tracks and rocky ground, while the PU midsole helps absorb repeated impacts. Around the ankle, the supportive cuff gives extra stability when carrying heavier loads on uneven ground without locking the foot into a stiff, rigid feel.

The upper is backed by a waterproof and breathable hydrophilic Tepor membrane to help keep feet dry through boggy sections, wet grass and persistent rain. Useful on trips where yesterday’s socks are already hanging from the outside of your pack.

Trail tested

Choose Atlas for the West Highland Way with a week’s worth of kit on your back. Long stretches of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path where every headland seems to hide another climb. Backpacking trips where the weather rolls through in phases and the ground changes constantly underfoot.

Atlas is for hikers who want one dependable boot for big days and bigger routes. Comfortable enough for long distances, supportive enough when the pack starts feeling heavier than it did that morning.

Comfort, guaranteed.

Love 'em or return 'em. All our footwear is backed by our 28-day Comfort Guarantee, allowing you to return your shoes if they're not right for you.

Developed with mountain footwear know-how

Atlas was developed with footwear specialists in north-east Italy, where generations of bootmakers have refined footwear for demanding mountain terrain. That experience shapes the fit, heel hold and underfoot feel throughout the boot.

The result is a hiking boot that feels reassuringly stable over distance without feeling cumbersome or stiff on the trail.

Lower impact by design

Atlas uses a durable upper with a PFAS-free Tepor membrane for waterproof protection with lower environmental impact. An Eco insole made with Arneplant Bio maize gives the comfort and durability of standard EVA while reducing reliance on fossil-based materials.

Sustainability and Product Care

Product Care

Brush off mud and dirt after each walk using lukewarm water and a soft brush. Keeping footwear clean helps maintain waterproof breathability and grip performance. Allow boots to dry naturally away from direct heat and reproof regularly with a suitable footwear treatment.

Comfort Guarantee
Love 'em or return 'em. All our footwear is backed by our 28-day Comfort Guarantee, allowing you to return your boots if they’re not right for you.

Sustainability

Lightweight waterproof construction
Atlas combines a lightweight fabric and split leather upper to balance durability, flexibility and long-term comfort on mixed terrain. The waterproof Tepor® lining uses hydrophilic membrane technology which maintains breathability even in wet conditions and is completely PFAS/PFC free.

Lower impact materials
The footbed uses Arneplant® bio-based foam made with maize oil, reducing reliance on fossil-fuel-derived materials while maintaining the cushioning and durability of traditional EVA insoles.

Women's footwear size guide

Sizing Guide
UK 4 5 6 7 8
EU 38 39 40 41 42

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up. Find out more about measuring your feet if you don't know your size.

Understanding fit

Shoe size is your starting point, but a good fit also depends on foot width, arch shape, and overall foot volume.

Our boots are designed around a standard mountain footwear fit and can be fine-tuned with insoles, socks, and lacing techniques.

Foot width

Our footwear is designed around a standard width of approximately 98–102 mm.

This is not a strict limit, as fit also depends on toe shape, arch profile, and overall foot volume.

If you consistently find standard footwear narrow or restrictive, we recommend trying boots on in-store where possible.

Toe shape

Our toe box accommodates a range of foot shapes.

If you have a particularly pronounced Greek foot shape (long second toe) or square toe profile, we recommend trying footwear in-store with one of our qualified boot fitters.

Arch and Volume

High arches and flat feet do not usually require a different boot size, but they can affect how much internal space feels comfortable.

  • Low-volume feet may benefit from a thicker insole for a more secure fit
  • High-volume or high-arched feet may prefer a thinner insole or adjusted lacing

The right insole can dramatically improve comfort, support, and heel hold.

Read our boot fitting guide to learn more about how to achieve a comfortable and performant fit with insoles and lacing techniques.

What to check at home

Always try boots on wearing the socks you intend to walk in.

Walk around indoors and check the following:

Toe Room

  • You should have a small gap in front of your toes
  • Your toes should not contact the front of the boot on descents

Heel Hold

  • Your heel should feel secure
  • Slight movement is normal, persistent slipping is not

Width & Comfort

  • The boot should feel secure without pinching
  • There should be no major pressure points or excessive looseness

If the fit doesn’t feel right, try another size or model.. We have a 28 day comfort fit guarantee.
