Details

50% trail, 50% ride, 50% trainer. You do the maths.

Tierra is built for the kind of trips where plans change as often as the weather. Bikepacking weekends with hike-a-bike sections, quick detours up a summit, rough coastal paths, forest tracks and the ride to the pub afterwards.

Developed with with bootmakers in north-east Italy who've spent generations getting mountain boots right, Tierra gives you the comfort and flexibility of an everyday shoe with the grip, protection and weatherproofing needed for proper time outdoors. One pair of shoes for go-anywhere adventures.

Highlights

  • REACT Trail sole - dependable grip across mixed terrain
  • Waterproof lining - Tepor membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable
  • Pedal-friendly support - stable feel for riding and hike-a-bike sections
  • Tough construction - split leather upper stands up to rough use
  • Toe and heel protection - added durability in high-wear areas
  • Long-day comfort - injected PU midsole cushions big-mile days

Built for mixed adventures

Some shoes are brilliant right up until the moment your plans change. Tierra is made for the opposite. Comfortable enough for long days on foot, supportive enough for riding, and tough enough for rough ground, wet weather and repeated use.

The REACT Trail sole gives you reassuring grip, cushioning and durability across varied terrain, from muddy tracks and rocky paths to tarmac links and loose hike-a-bike sections. Underfoot, the PU midsole provides long-lasting support and shock absorption to help reduce fatigue when the miles start adding up.

Up top, the split leather upper is backed by a waterproof and breathable Tepor membrane, keeping your feet dry through wet grass, stream crossings and the sort of boggy ground Britain seems oddly proud of. Reinforced protection at the toe and heel adds durability where your shoes tend to take the most punishment.

Trail tested

Choose Tierra for multi-day bikepacking trips through the Cairngorms. Long days linking trails, tracks and back roads. Coastal hikes with café stops in between. The evening walk along the lakeside after setting up camp. Or simply one pair of shoes that can handle a bit of everything without needing a second thought.

Tierra works best when the route is varied, the forecast uncertain and the day is unlikely to stay within a single category for very long.

Comfort, guaranteed.

Love 'em or return 'em. All our footwear is backed by our 28-day Comfort Guarantee, allowing you to return your shoes if they're not right for you.

Developed with mountain footwear know-how

Tierra was developed with footwear specialists in north-east Italy, where generations of bootmakers have refined footwear for demanding mountain terrain. That experience shapes the balance throughout the shoe - supportive enough for rough ground and loaded days, comfortable enough to wear from morning coffee to last-light descents.

It is a multi-activity shoe designed for people who would rather get on with the adventure than think too hard about what footwear category they fall into.

Lower impact by design

Tierra uses a split leather upper with a C0 DWR and an Eco insole made with Arneplant Bio maize, with the same performance as standard EVA but with lower impact materials. The hydrophilic Tepor membrane is PFAS-free, so it won't leak nasty chemicals into the wild places you love.

Women's footwear size guide

Sizing Guide
UK 4 5 6 7 8
EU 38 39 40 41 42

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up. Find out more about measuring your feet if you don't know your size.

Understanding fit

Shoe size is your starting point, but a good fit also depends on foot width, arch shape, and overall foot volume.

Our boots are designed around a standard mountain footwear fit and can be fine-tuned with insoles, socks, and lacing techniques.

Foot width

Our footwear is designed around a standard width of approximately 98–102 mm.

This is not a strict limit, as fit also depends on toe shape, arch profile, and overall foot volume.

If you consistently find standard footwear narrow or restrictive, we recommend trying boots on in-store where possible.

Toe shape

Our toe box accommodates a range of foot shapes.

If you have a particularly pronounced Greek foot shape (long second toe) or square toe profile, we recommend trying footwear in-store with one of our qualified boot fitters.

Arch and Volume

High arches and flat feet do not usually require a different boot size, but they can affect how much internal space feels comfortable.

  • Low-volume feet may benefit from a thicker insole for a more secure fit
  • High-volume or high-arched feet may prefer a thinner insole or adjusted lacing

The right insole can dramatically improve comfort, support, and heel hold.

Read our boot fitting guide to learn more about how to achieve a comfortable and performant fit with insoles and lacing techniques.

What to check at home

Always try boots on wearing the socks you intend to walk in.

Walk around indoors and check the following:

Toe Room

  • You should have a small gap in front of your toes
  • Your toes should not contact the front of the boot on descents

Heel Hold

  • Your heel should feel secure
  • Slight movement is normal, persistent slipping is not

Width & Comfort

  • The boot should feel secure without pinching
  • There should be no major pressure points or excessive looseness

If the fit doesn’t feel right, try another size or model.. We have a 28 day comfort fit guarantee.
