Lighter than a boot. Still up for the miles. Waterproof walking shoe for fast-moving hikes and long summer days - with REACT Hike sole and Sympatex lining.
Details

Lighter than a boot. Still up for the miles.

Latitude is built for long days on the hill when you want to move quickly and travel light without giving up grip, support or weather protection. From summer peak-bagging to rougher UK trails, it balances the comfort of a lighter shoe with the durability and stability needed for proper days out.

Developed with footwear specialists in north-east Italy, Latitude combines a waterproof Sympatex lining, REACT Hike sole and supportive fit for moving confidently across wet grass, rocky paths and muddy ground.

Highlights

  • REACT Hike sole - reliable grip and cushioning on mixed terrain
  • Waterproof lining - Sympatex membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable
  • Lightweight feel - lighter than a boot but still up for big days
  • Supportive fit - stable feel across uneven ground and longer miles
  • Durable upper - split leather construction handles rough trails
  • Long-day comfort - injected sole cushions sustained walking days

Built for moving through the hills

Latitude is the shoe for the days when a full walking boot feels like more than you need, but a lightweight trainer leaves you wanting a bit more support underfoot. It’s designed for faster hikes, long summer routes and mixed terrain where comfort, grip and weather protection all matter equally.

The REACT Hike sole balances cushioning with dependable traction across rocky trails, damp paths and uneven ground. Underfoot, the PU midsole helps absorb repeated impacts and reduce fatigue over longer distances.

Up top, the split leather upper is backed by a breathable Sympatex lining that offers class-leading waterproofness. Unlike microporous membranes, the hydrophilic construction continues breathing effectively even in persistently wet conditions - useful when the “passing shower” lasts roughly six hours.

Trail tested

Choose Latitude for big summer hikes and fast-moving hill days. The 9 Edges in the Peak District when the heather turns purple. Linking ridgelines in Eryri. Long days in the Lakes where the route starts on damp valley tracks and ends somewhere rocky with a view worth stopping for - with plenty of snacks to refuel before heading back down.

Latitude is for walkers who want something lighter and more agile than a boot, with more stability and support than a minimalist trail shoe.

Comfort, guaranteed.

Love 'em or return 'em. All our footwear is backed by our 28-day Comfort Guarantee, allowing you to return your shoes if they're not right for you.

Developed with mountain footwear know-how

Latitude was developed with bootmakers in north-east Italy who've spent generations getting mountain footwear right. That experience shapes the fit, support and underfoot feel throughout the shoe, helping it stay comfortable and dependable over long days outside.

The result is a waterproof walking shoe that feels light and agile on the move, while still holding up to rougher ground and unpredictable weather.

Lower impact by design

Latitude uses a split leather upper with a C0 DWR and a PFAS-free Sympatex membrane for waterproof protection with lower environmental impact. An Eco insole made with Arneplant Bio maize oil retains the comfort and durability of standard EVA while reducing reliance on fossil-based materials.

Women's footwear size guide

Sizing Guide
UK 4 5 6 7 8
EU 38 39 40 41 42

If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up. Find out more about measuring your feet if you don't know your size.

Understanding fit

Shoe size is your starting point, but a good fit also depends on foot width, arch shape, and overall foot volume.

Our boots are designed around a standard mountain footwear fit and can be fine-tuned with insoles, socks, and lacing techniques.

Foot width

Our footwear is designed around a standard width of approximately 98–102 mm.

This is not a strict limit, as fit also depends on toe shape, arch profile, and overall foot volume.

If you consistently find standard footwear narrow or restrictive, we recommend trying boots on in-store where possible.

Toe shape

Our toe box accommodates a range of foot shapes.

If you have a particularly pronounced Greek foot shape (long second toe) or square toe profile, we recommend trying footwear in-store with one of our qualified boot fitters.

Arch and Volume

High arches and flat feet do not usually require a different boot size, but they can affect how much internal space feels comfortable.

  • Low-volume feet may benefit from a thicker insole for a more secure fit
  • High-volume or high-arched feet may prefer a thinner insole or adjusted lacing

The right insole can dramatically improve comfort, support, and heel hold.

Read our boot fitting guide to learn more about how to achieve a comfortable and performant fit with insoles and lacing techniques.

What to check at home

Always try boots on wearing the socks you intend to walk in.

Walk around indoors and check the following:

Toe Room

  • You should have a small gap in front of your toes
  • Your toes should not contact the front of the boot on descents

Heel Hold

  • Your heel should feel secure
  • Slight movement is normal, persistent slipping is not

Width & Comfort

  • The boot should feel secure without pinching
  • There should be no major pressure points or excessive looseness

If the fit doesn’t feel right, try another size or model.. We have a 28 day comfort fit guarantee.
