- Flexible construction for a high range of movement when working hard
- Easy to change into at the water's edge
- Recyclable at end of life with Circular Flow
Designer's notes
"For Element we've created a two-piece wetsuit system that's flexible, versatile and easy to use. It allows you to choose how you stay warm when in or on the water and keeps your movement unrestricted. It's great for standup paddle boarding (SUPing) but equally at home as an alternative to a traditional outdoor swimming wetsuit
We've used Glideskin neoprene to help you cut through the water and reinforced it with nylon in high wear areas. It's a varied the thickness throughout to promote flexibility and range of movement where it's needed most. The shorts are easy to change into and out of at the waterside."

Sustainability and Product Care
Sustainability
Recyclable at end of life
Even the most beloved wetsuit will reach breaking point at some stage. Keep your wetsuit alive and turn you old suit into new neoprene by taking advantage of our partnership with Circular Flow.
Where it's made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.
All our factories sign up to our Code of Conduct. Find out where we make our product by visiting our Factories of Alpkit factory zone.
Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intensity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
End of life
When your partnership with this product is over send it back to us and we will pass it on to someone that needs it through our Continuum Project.
Product care
Cleaning and caring for your wetsuit
When you are pulling on your suit take care not to use your finger nails. Check your suit for fit and range of motion. Your suit will feel different when wet. The neoprene collar and cuffs can be trimmed with scissors if they extend too far.
Rinse your suit out with fresh water after each use. Hang the wetsuit inside out and allow to dry away from direct sunlight or heat source. Store your suit in a cool room on a wide plastic coat hanger. Roll your suit when transporting rather than fold.
Don’t use petroleum products with your suit as this will damage the neoprene. Small tears can be repaired with neoprene cement or glue.
