"So stretchy you can kick yourself square in the face" wasn’t on the design brief for the Bloc Pant but it’s true nonetheless... if you can reach...
- Stretchy and comfortable organic cotton twill fabric
- Gussetted crotch and articulated knees for movement
- Deep ¾ elasticated waistband fits a range of body shapes
Get into (and out of) tight spaces with the Bloc Pant. Designed for fair weather outdoor climbing and foul weather indoor bouldering to make heel hook hindrance a thing of the past. The twill fabric uses soft organic cotton with a touch of spandex, providing a frankly silly level of dynamic movement.
Just in case that wasn’t enough climbing comfort, we’ve added a diamond-shape gusseted crotch and articulated knees, allowing you to execute awkward moves with orangutan levels of limb looseness. The stretch-twill also allowed us to make the Bloc Climbing Trousers a slimmer fit than standard climbing pants, so you can still see your toes on nifty foot placements.
Climbing trousers need to be durable, especially if they’re being subjected to rough Peak District grit. Cotton is a naturally hard-wearing material and possesses inherent grip properties –useful for tackling gnarly off-width cracks, (or for by-any-means-possible climbers with notorious knees...).
A deep waistband with ¾ ribbed elastic and button closure provides a flattering fit for a range of body-shapes and fits neatly under a harness. There are also four drop pockets for phones, guidebooks and beanies. Actual pockets you can use! Who'd have thought it...

How It Is Made
Organic CottonThese trousers are made from Global Organic Textile Standard certified organic cotton. Organic cotton farming produces significantly less CO₂, uses less water and eliminates the use of harmful pesticides. And it feels great!

Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
