Axiom is a group tent that gobbles up your kit

By Kenny Stocker

Trek & Mountain have selected our Axiom 4-person tent for their tried and tested review this month.

They describe Axiom as a 4-person, 3 season semi-geodesic tent, with a poise more akin to a mountain tent rather than your standard family tent.

A spacious tent that's ideal for 'base camp' duties on British campsites.

The tent is popped up by sliding the colour-coded alloy poles into their corresponding sleeves. They found this to be quick and easy.

The inner tent is attached to the outer from inside, meaning it stays dry when pitching in the rain. They note it has a good balance of mesh to provide ventilation in summer while preventing cold breezes in colder weather.

They point out that the Axiom can also be used without the mesh inner as a large shelter.

Once up they found it to be spacious, and capable of gobbling up all of your kit.

The space inside both the inner tent and vestibule is enormous, certainly for those of us used to cramped backpacking or mountain tents.

In summary T&M think our Axiom is a sturdy and spacious base camp tent a great price.
