Talini
€89,99 €119,99
The Talini uses innovative PrimaLoft® Silver ThermoPlume® insulation – the best synthetic mimic of down available – to produce a jacket with all of down’s benefits, but without any of its downsides (pun fully intended).
- Similar warmth-to-weight ratio to 600FP down
- Insulation retains 90% of its warmth when wet
- Uses incredibly packable synthetic down plumes
- 100% recycled nylon fabric and PFC Free DWR
The hydrophobic PrimaLoft® plumes don’t lose their structure when wet like down, so the jacket will still insulate in damp climates. The synthetic fill also retains around 90% of its warmth when wet, is fast drying and super easy to care for. Take a shower in it if you really want to. It’s also a great down alternative if you prefer not to use animal products.
Offering a similar warmth to weight ratio to 600 fill power down, the plumes are stored within baffles to keep the insulation lofted and evenly distributed. Easily compressible, the jacket can be squeezed neatly into a 3 litre Airlok, ready to be yanked out on Munro-bagging and Wainwright-ticking lunch stops.
The windproof outer fabric is made from 100% recycled nylon and treated with a PFC-free water repellent to shrug off light rain, hail and snow showers. Effective as an outer layer, it can also be worn as a mid layer underneath shells when the wet and wind-chill start to set in.

Product Care Information
Washing Instructions
Wash at 30°C on a synthetics cycle and wipe spillages (ketchup, hot chocolate dribbles) clean with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Do not store compressed, especially damp, and tumble dry after washing for best results. It is normal for the insulation to clump if it is still damp, pat gently to re-distribute fill after drying fully.
Looking after your DWR treatment
To keep your jacket’s water repellent treatment in tip-top condition, wash it regularly in pure soap or a ‘Tech Wash’ cleaner. You may also need to refresh the treatment about once or twice a year (depending on usage) using a wash-in or spray-on reproofer. Easy!

Sustainability
How It Is Made
Recycled Nylon
For the Talini's fabric we've chosen a 100% recycled nylon fabric from post-industrial sources. Leftover matter from nylon production and fabric scraps from the cutting process are remade into brand new nylon fabric!
PFC-free Durable Water Repellent
The Talini uses a completely PFC-free DWR treatment on its outer fabric. PFCs are potentially harmful and have been found to build up in the environment. We don't like the sound of that so we're working hard to get rid of them.
Where It Is Made
Our products are made in the best factories in the world. We know the factories personally and they have all signed up to our Code of Ethics in our supply chain. This includes the Ethical Trading Initiative base code, fair pay, safe working environments, no child labour, no modern slavery, no bribery or corruption, no materials from conflict zones and humane farming methods.
All our factories sign up to our Code of Conduct. Find out where we make our product by visiting our Factories of Alpkit factory zone.
Reducing our carbon footprint
We are carbon neutral under PAS2060 and offset our Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 operations and transport emissions. We recognise that offsetting is not part of the solution but a point to pass through on a journey to Net Zero. Carbon Neutral is just a step in that journey.
We have joined the Science Based Targets Initiative which sets independent targets for us to achieve to do our bit to limit global warming to 1.5°C. Our targets are to halve our Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions by 2025 based on 2018 base year and reduce our total carbon intesnity by 15% every year to achieve genuine net zero by 2050.
End of life
When your partnership with this product is over send it back to us and we will pass it on to someone that needs it through our Continuum Project.
