The Hayfield Kinder Trespass Group, in collaboration with Right to Roam and The Outdoor Swimming Society, is organising "Trespass 93" on April 26–27, 2025, in Hayfield, Derbyshire.
This event commemorates the 93rd anniversary of the 1932 Kinder Mass Trespass, a pivotal protest that significantly advanced public access rights in the UK.
The weekend will feature workshops, panel discussions, and a mass rally advocating for expanded access to land and water. Key speakers include Kate Ashbrook of the Open Spaces Society and environmental campaigner Guy Shrubsole. A highlight of the event is the launch of the updated Kinder Pledge, inspired by Benny Rothman's 1989 Rivington Pledge, reaffirming the commitment to universal, responsible access to all landscapes.
