The organic cotton canvas fabric is super comfy but incredibly tough under abrasion — ideal for the infamous sandpaper effect of gritstone crags. Blended with a small amount of spandex, the Kraft are pretty darn stretchy too, easily passing the ‘foot-next-to-your-face-heel-hook’ test.

A touch of spandex in the fabric lets the Werk short move with you, not against you and the gusseted crotch gives you even more room to move unrestricted. These shorts have passed the ‘get-your-foot-improbably-high-to-avoid-that-rubbish-foothold’ test, so they’re pretty darn stretchy.

The thicker central rear belt loop is ace for attaching your chalk bag and a zipped thigh pocket is ideal for stashing your keys or cards so you don’t lose them when you're bouncing about on the bike or hanging off overhangs.
