Earth Trust strives for a sustainable future, nurturing wildflower meadows and woodland trails that preserve nature’s beauty for generations.
No one will protect what they don't care about, and no one will care about what they have never experienced. - Sir David Attenborough
We love the outdoors and the limitless potential for adventure and exploration it holds, which is why it's becomming ever more important to do everything in our power to help preserve its awesomeness. It's all well and good doing our bit through beach cleans and taking steps to cut our carbon footprint, howeverif we're not educating others about the consequences our actions have on the planet then the steps we take only stop at us.
What if we could pass on our own knowledge to the next generation? Wouldn't it be great to inspireothers to be better than us and strive towards a more sustainable future?. Well, that's just what Earth Trust have been doing through their Earth School program, and we're chuffed to be able to help support their cause!
Earth Trust Development Team member Kitty Cox reached out to us at the Alpkit Foundation to tell us a little about the project.
"Earth Trust inspires a love of nature and ecosystems by giving primary school children a fun outdoor discovery day in our woodlands, meadows, farmland and farmyard. Each session is tailored to the class and we give confidence to teachers and pupils that they can grasp environmental issues have fun and learn outdoors." - Kitty Cox
We're over the moon to be able to help Kitty and the Earth Trust provide vital education to the next generation so we can all work together on creating a happier and healthier planet.
