Bike maintenance workshop focussing on setting up for winter
Join us at Alpkit Betws-y-Coed on December 5th for a workshop on setting your bike up for winter rides. The first in our series of bike maintenance workshops covering seasonal maintenance, tyre choice, brakes and lighting.
We all know the feeling; long nights, frozen clouds of breath and words like ‘slop’ and ‘freezing’ being readily thrown around. We’d all like to continue our cycling adventures and keep riding throughout the winter, and we’d love to share some of our ideas for making that the best experience it can be.
We’ll be meeting at the Alpkit shop in Betws y Coed on December 5th at 6pm, to run a practical workshop on setting up our bikes for winter weather. This is the first edition of this seasons Maintenance workshops, covering seasonal maintenance, tyre choice, brakes and lighting. Feel free to bring your own bikes or you can practice on one of ours. The workshop will last for approximately 2 hours.
We will provide seasonally-appropriate refreshments of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic mulled wine.
