An evening MTB ride developing core riding skills
Join us at Alpkit Keswick on the 15th of April for a guided mountain bike skills ride led by Will Fraser MTB
This is an opportunity to get a fully coached skills ride for a fraction of the price of a normal one-to-one session
This ride is for anyone, from beginners to experts. This is an opportunity to hone in those mountain bike skills and develop key techniques.
Will is a highly qualified coach with years of experience. Coaching mountain bikers of all levels, Will has put this session together to include all the core skills to get summer of riding off to a flying start.
A few things that will be covered:
Body positioning (ready position and how to react to terrain)
Line choice basic theories and how to choose your line
An introduction to how and where to brake
The ride follows a pleasant loop that goes straight from the Alpkit store, with plenty of features that are perfect for practicing all the skills covered.
With the nature of this session, its likely there will be a few stationary moments for talking, demonstrations and practicing skills on a section of the trail. Please bring appropriate extra clothing to stay warm during these elements of the ride.
After the ride there will be free drinks and snacks back at ALpkit Keswick. There will be a post ride de-brief from Will and plenty of time to chill out and plan those next rides.
Participants will need to bring:
A mountain bike in good working order. If you wish to borrow a Sonder Mountain bike then please contact Alpkit Keswick at least 10 days before the ride
A certified helmet and protective eyewear. You may also use pads like knee or elbow pads
