An evening on the benefits of being in and on the water
Come along to Alpkit Hathersage on the 29th of April for a talk on whether you should be in or on the water with Jo Moseley and Sara Barnes.
Come along and discover what the water could do for you.
Jo will be sharing with us her journey. From tough times in public, feelig broken dow by anxiety, grief and the menopause, to becoming the first woman to paddle coast to coast. She has since gone on to write her first trvael guide, devoted to her Love for SUP, giving places to paddle within the UK.
Sara will be be presenting her experiences with the cold water. This will include the showing of her two short films, The Crummock Selkie and The Perfect Icehole. Sara recently wrote her book the Cold Fix. She will discuss her reasoning for publishing this, along with some of the challenges and barriers she faced along the way.
The evenign will run for 2 hours from 7pm till 9pm.
