At just 100g (including stuff-sack), the Drift camping pillow weighs just a touch more than that clean pair of undies you’re still trying to justify taking. It packs down to the size of a tennis ball, and should squeeze itself nicely into the dead space in your rucksack or seat-pack.

The inflatable inner is hardwearing and protected by a soft, washable fabric cover for next-to-skin comfort. Whether you opt for a high or low, firm or squashy pillow, the Drift can be air-adjusted to your personal preference.

The two layers are also designed to have built-in stretch for a not-quite-as-good-as-your-own-bed-but-pretty-damn-close night’s sleep.
